Gashua Journal of Irrigation and Desertififcation Studies (GJIDS) cover a wide range of topical issues about dryland environments world-wide. There are interesting views on socio-economic influence of irrigation and desertification that features in the journal. The journal publishes articles that provide deeper insight into water resources development and management, irrigated cropping system, environmental impact assessment, climate change, agroforestry and afforestation, dryland fauna and flora resources, home science and management, food science and technology.
GJIDS is one of the two University-based Journals being published by the Federal University Gashua. The Journal promotes excellence in science and technology by giving priority to findings of good quality research. All scientists are encouraged to promote their scientific and promising ideas through this Journal.
